elOela - Terms and Conditions elOela

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the App. If you continue to use the App, you accept the Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change by us at any time, effective from the moment the change is released. If you continue to use the app after the Terms and Conditions have changed, it will constitute acceptance by you of such changes.

The information exposed in elOela App has been added by users, elOela does not assume any responsibility for the quality and/or accuracy of the information nor for any omission.

The content published by a user must not contain vulgar language, inappropriate material, unlawful, libelous, defamatory, sexually explicit, obscene, abusive content, in breach of any third party's privacy rights, and/or contains personal information of third parties such as telephone numbers, street addresses, or email addresses. 

Third Party Account Information: we need you to login to elOela to uniquely identify you, we do this using Third Party Services, such Facebook or Gmail, you may provide us with your Third Party Services account information, such as your username (note that we don’t store any passwords you use to access Third Party Services). We transmit the data that is needed in accordance with the terms and policies of the Third Party Services.

Personal information and comments: when participating in a reveal, all the information added such as the gender prediction, name suggestion, message, rational, and others, could be shared publically by the owner of the reveal.

When participating in a reveal, the name and photo of the participant could be shared publically by the owner of the reveal.

We don’t sell your personal information to anyone. 

A reveal could be deleted at any time by the owner or by elOela without any authorization nor communication.

Payment transactions

elOela payment transactions are power by our Payment Processor Stripe (1). We transmit payment information via an encrypted connection to Stripe. Stripe uses and processes your payment information in accordance withStripe’s Privacy Policy (2). 

Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1 (3). This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. elOela does not store your payment information.

What is PCI? The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a set of security standards designed to ensure that ALL companies that accept, process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment (4).
